When it comes to dandruff, two things are usually mixed together: dandruff and dry scalp. However, they are two different things.

Dandruff is a dead cell that has come off the skin. By far the most common cause is the yeast, which resides on the scalp of all of us. Sometimes, the yeast grows too eagerly on the scalp and causes the scalp to become rancid. This results in visible dandruff and skin irritation. Now what causes scalp sores? Let us find out.

Instead, the most common cause of dry scalp is atopic dermatitis. Another common cause is psoriasis

Dandruff caused by sebum and yeast is often yellowish and greasy. Dry scalp flakes, on the other hand, are light, white, and dry, and easily detach from the scalp. However, the appearance of dandruff does not always indicate the cause.

Dense washing is number one

Regardless of the type of dandruff, the most important treatment is frequent washing. It does not increase obesity. Oily dandruff shampoo is suitable for oily dandruff

  • After washing, a hydrocortisone liner can be applied to the scalp. Cheap and good care is your glycerol containing hands. There is no need to worry about the disadvantages of continuous scalp use.
  • If the dandruff is not removed by washing, a cream mixture containing salicylic acid and sulfur can be used. You can rub it on the scaly areas in the evening and rinse with shampoo in the morning. Scrubbing the scalp with a hairdresser or at home with, for example, coffee grounds can also help.

Dry scalp suffers from hard substances

Dry scalp loses moisture. For dry dandruff, you can try diluting a regular shampoo with water, using products that are too strong can exacerbate the problem. Careful rinsing is at least as important as allowing the scalp to breathe freely. For dry dandruff, you can also try moisturizing lotions left on the scalp.

The scalp would do well to scratch, but the bacteria would get the ulcer into the bloodstream. You should also leave your hair dyed for a while when your scalp is healthy again.

The diet can be tested

A diet is only meaningful if it is very one-sided. Some people with dandruff still report that they are getting help avoiding sugar and starch. It is a good idea to continue the experiment for a few weeks to see if it works.

It is advisable to seek medical attention if the scaling does not ease despite regular home care.
