Dr. Peter Fodor is an internationally recognized aesthetic & plastic surgeon, double board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is well known for his innovations in cosmetic surgery, particularly in the areas of minimally invasive facial rejuvenation and body contouring surgery. Skilled in a wide range of surgical procedures including Face Lift (traditional and endoscopic), rhinoplasty (nose job), liposuction, abdominoplasty, and breast aesthetic surgery, Dr. Fodor is nationally and internationally recognized for his surgical expertise and outstanding results.
Born a Hungarian national in Romania, Dr. Fodor graduated first in his class from the University of Wisconsin Medical School, just three years after his arrival to the U.S. He interned at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas, followed by general surgery and plastic surgery residencies at Columbia/New York Presbyterian Hospital system including plastic surgery residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital.
For years, he has been a member of national committees designed to evaluate and introduce innovative procedures in aesthetic plastic surgery. He has been in practice for more than 20 years, and has served as co-editor of the international journal, Aesthetic Cosmetic Surgery for over a decade. In addition, he authored the groundbreaking textbook, Endoscopically-Assisted Aesthetic Cosmetic Surgery, and served as principal writer and medical editor of Be Your Best: A Comprehensive Guide to Aesthetic Surgery (available on Amazon.com).
He has been featured in a lot of prestigious publications, including The New York Times, Elle Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar Magazine, and The Los Angeles Times. In addition to this, he has been ranked among the best in his field by magazines such as W, Town & Country and Los Angeles.
