Cutting Costs in Business
If you are in business, you will know just how much it costs and how much attention you have to pay to the budget. Buying items at retail prices really does dent the cash flow so it makes sense to look into wholesale options or at least wholesale prices as soon as possible. Establishing a business relationship with wholesalers takes time as the majority of them are not interested in any amounts that fall below their minimum order threshold, but there are exceptions. For example, if you are responsible for the smooth running of a hotel or heavily populated office block you might need to bulk order many things including tissues, drinking water or even tea and coffee.
Bathroom supplies also need regular replenishment as well and finding a highly regarded cheap soap manufacturing (or โรงงาน ผลิต สบู่ ราคา ถูก as it is known in the Thai Language) company may not be hard as you think. Using slightly smaller companies for your wholesale requirements might work to your advantage as the minimum threshold for purchasing in bulk will be less than a large distributor. If you can cut out the distributor and go straight to the manufacturers you will also benefit from lowered costs. Many bespoke soap factories may be able to even supply relatively small amounts at the same prices, the only problem you may have is making the initial contact with them. Here are a few suggestions of how to make that all important first contact:
- Speak to People! Networking is a Sure-Fire way to let People know what you are Looking For
- Attend Industry Expos – Another good way to get your Face Seen and Meet Suppliers
- Advertise Online – Take Advantage of the Internet, more and more people are Getting Online Every Day
- Advertise in Industry and Manufacturing Magazines
The above suggestions are merely a few ideas as to how to take the first steps in finding the right manufacturer/suppliers for your particular requirements.
Maintaining the Supply Line for your Business
When you have finally found the right contacts, you need to make sure you keep the momentum and establishment a regular supply online. It goes without saying, but these lines of communication do not run on their own and you do need some sort of back up plan. If your trusted supplier goes out of business for any reason you will need someone else who can fill the gap quickly. If your supply line breaks down in any way your clients will suffer, and you will also suffer.
Cutting costs in business is important, but never forget that the continuation of the business is more important. Your business should be able to survive a minor disruption, but you need to put the apparatus in place to provide a safety net if needed. Building a solid relationship with wholesalers and manufacturers makes good business sense, as it’s not always wise to put all your eggs in one basket!
